APMID $100,000 Flash Game Revenue Experiment – Part 2

APMID $100,000 Flash Game Revenue Experiment – Part 2
$99850 left to go!
I posted about the APMID blog’s attempt to make $100K off of viral Flash games last week and he has updated his blog with a new entry.

Basically he created a very nice little mouse driven Christmas themed Snake game in a few hours (he obviously has some decent coding skills to get it done so quickly). He added in some snow effects, licensed some music and put it up on Flash Game License. He was able to get a $150 sponsorship after a few days.

Try Reindeer Rattle:

Not bad. It is a start, and I am very impressed that he was able to get a game out the door so quickly. He will learn that holiday themed games don’t get much in the way of sponsorship, but can be a way get getting a lot of repeated plays in an ever green way. Pumpkin Man has over a million plays and is a basically a souped up Halloween Pacman game, so Holiday themed games may no be not complete a bust.
